RCY 100 AU Seeds Forest Red Gum Eucalyptus Tereticornis

A tall, straight tree, 20-45m tall with an open rounded crown and long smooth trunk which is white-grey and patchy. Foliage and flowers are typical of eucalypts. The buds have an elongated conical cap and mature fruit (gum nuts) have valves which open and point upwards from the main body of the fruit. Best described as a taller woodland tree rather than a forest tree as the common name implies. White flowers occur from spring to summer, with abundant flowering often occurring only every fourth year.
