Precious birch up to 20 meters high, widely used in North America for making canoes, it has a white bark with a texture similar to paper. It is undemanding in soils, it requires some humidity and sun, it has a vigorous and rapid growth. It can be had without problems as a bonsai or as a decorative plant in pots giving it quite attractive. It is recommended to stratify the seeds before sowing them, that is, to put them in a sand dish if possible, but without burying them, for about 90 days in the fridge at a temperature close to 6 degrees. Then put them in a glass of water for a day and then proceed to sow in shady and shallow conditions.
