The Canarian Pine is a very resistant pine that develops a very padded bark that allows it to survive the passage of fires from a young age.
So much so that even a month after being consumed by a fire, the pine tree is already beginning to sprout again from the same main trunk or secondary branches.
For this reason, it has been widely used in reforestation throughout the world (the United States is a good example of this), it can withstand extreme aridity and develops in all types of soils (including soils with a certain degree of salinity).
Without problems, it can withstand temperatures above 50ºC and slightly below -10ºC, in optimal conditions it easily exceeds 40 meters in height.
Its needles are capable of distilling water from the mists with considerable productivity and being ideal for recharging underground aquifers.
Its cultivation could not be simpler, simply sow the seed without the need for any treatment (neither stratifications, nor scarification...) in a warm-luminous-sheltered place and water without flooding.
In a couple of weeks a good percentage should begin to appear, as they acquire a certain consistency they should be placed in full sun, it grows relatively very quickly.
