Wonderful Bottle Rocket Ligularia Sun Shade Leopard Garden Plant

This shorter hybrid was selected for its compact habit and heavy flower production. A profusion of bright yellow flower spikes rocket above the clump of large, rich green, serrated leaves in midsummer. Yellow flowers in early summer, held high above the leaves. A hummingbird favorite. Ligularia are big, bold plants that need constant moisture. They are great additions to bogs, seasonally flooded areas, woodland edge or reliably moist shade gardens. They make a wonderful transition from the hosta garden to the woodlands.
